Compact, efficient and powerful

With this compact and powerful grinding and milling machine you can process your products with high precision and put the finishing touches on sockets. The Ottobock socket router is suitable for the processing of all orthopaedic materials and includes an integrated high-performance, separately switchable suction system: this not only allows you to work cleanly but also provides optimum protection against fine particles which can be hazardous to health.

The integrated sound-damped suction system eliminates the need for a separate dust collector. This gives you a big advantage in a number of ways: you save money and space, and there is no need to install tubing between the socket router and the dust collector. This has a direct impact on the router's suctioning efficiency, as it minimises the loss of suction pressure.

The suction arm can be swivelled freely and the milling shaft vertically so that you can optimally adjust the machine to suit your height and current activity. The Ottobock socket router also sets itself apart with its easy cleaning process, which is just as uncomplicated as the actual operation of the machine: extracted particles fall into a removable collection container, so there is no need to use or change collection bags. The machine is also suitable for extracting carbon particles through the use of antistatic filter material.

Connection for a second machine

To make optimal use of the dust extractor, a second machine (for example another socket router) can be connected. The two machines can be used in alternating operation.

Rotating and swivelling suction hood

The suction hood can be freely positioned. This allows dust which arises to be optimally collected and extracted. This protects your health and keeps the workshop clean.

Tilt-adjustable milling shaft

The milling shaft can be tilted to optimally adjust it to your needs and thus offers the right working height at all times.
