Instructions for technicians

In the section below, we have compiled useful videos for you which can be helpful when using our materials in your day-to-day work.

Thermoplastics

ThermoLyn – fabrication of test and interim sockets

This processing video illustrates how to use ThermoLyn thermoplastic materials in orthopaedic technology. It helps you obtain optimum results when fabricating check and interim sockets.

ThermoLyn – fabrication of definitive sockets

This processing video illustrates how to use ThermoLyn thermoplastic materials in orthopaedic technology. It helps you obtain optimum results when fabricating definitive sockets.

Lamination technology

Resin film 616B60

The resin film was developed especially to support the production of exceptionally sturdy and lightweight prostheses and orthoses using lamination technology. Advantages include a simplified laminating process and the ability to ensure the required component characteristics thanks to a precise and adjustable resin content. This processing video demonstrates how to apply the resin film to fabricate components.

Orthocryl lamination resin 80:20 PRO 617H119

This processing video demonstrates how to apply the lamination resin 80:20 PRO correctly. It helps you obtain optimum results for your thin-walled components with 80:20 PRO.

Orthocryl lamination resin 80:20 Speed 617H19S

The new Orthocryl lamination resin 80:20 Speed is especially suitable for small components in the fields of prosthetics and orthotics. The Orthocryl lamination resin requires just half the curing time to achieve the same quality of the laminate with the same processing steps.

Anchor preform 5Z15

The 5Z15 Anchor preform reinforcement material was developed especially for the production of fibre-reinforced components using lamination technology. 5Z15 Anchor preform is the optimal solution for professionally reinforcing the socket adapter. This processing video illustrates how to use the 5Z15 Anchor preform.

Adhesives

SuperGlue 636K49

SuperGlue is a fast-setting, two-component adhesive for filling gaps. Thanks to its very high adhesive strength, it is suitable for a wide variety of materials in orthopaedic technology. The nozzle of the mixing gun allows SuperGlue to be applied easily for gluing components with different or undefined bonding gaps up to 12 mm. This processing video illustrates how to apply SuperGlue correctly.

Small parts and auxiliary materials

RevoFit 514Z14

RevoFit2 offers technological solutions for the production of individually adjustable prosthetic sockets. The compression or grip of the prosthetic socket can be controlled in this way. This video demonstrates the handling of the BOA® system and shows how micro-adjustments of the socket are possible.
